Clarity of Purpose
Sam DeSocio | 6/14/26 | Acts 25-26
Most of us spend a lot of life unsure of what we're supposed to be doing next, and that uncertainty quietly raises the stress and anxiety we carry every day. In this message from Acts 26, Pastor Sam looks at the apostle Paul standing on trial before a powerful king, and finds a man with nothing left but clarity. Two years in prison hadn't shaken him, the threat of death hadn't distracted him, because Paul knew exactly what his life was for.
What would change in your week if your purpose were that clear? When Paul finally understood what he was made for, all the secondary worries faded, and one thing took over: he wanted everyone in the room, including the king who could free or condemn him, to know the forgiveness and new life he had found in Jesus.
This message also gets honest about why we hide. We've all been trained to cover our faults, to make sure it's someone else's fault, to never let them see us sweat, because it's easy for people to throw a brick at us from a distance. But you can't fix anything from far away. You have to come close. That's exactly what Jesus did. He didn't stay at a distance. He came into our world, saw what was broken, and came to restore it. Whether you're at a low point or feeling like everything's fine, there's room for you here, and there's grace for you in him.
