Day 4 - A house that leads to death
Day 4 - Today's Reading is Proverbs 2:16-22 (NIV)
Wisdom will save you also from the adulterous woman, from the wayward woman with her seductive words, ¹⁷who has left the partner of her youth and ignored the covenant she made before God. ¹⁸Surely her house leads down to death and her paths to the spirits of the dead. ¹⁹None who go to her return or attain the paths of life. ²⁰Thus you will walk in the ways of the good and keep to the paths of the righteous. ²¹For the upright will live in the land, and the blameless will remain in it; ²²but the wicked will be cut off from the land, and the unfaithful will be torn from it.

What's One Thing God Wants You to Underline?
Ending Prayer:
Faithful God, thank You for Your wisdom that protects me from paths that lead to destruction. Guard my heart against temptations that would draw me away from covenant faithfulness in all my relationships. Help me to recognize seductive words and promises that lead to death rather than life. I'm grateful that through Jesus, I can walk in the ways of the righteous and experience Your blessing. As I reflect on these proverbs, help me to apply them to modern temptations I face daily. In Jesus' name, Amen.
